Donald Ray Brown

Donald Ray Brown Columbus, Ohio December 8, 1949 – December 16, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Brown on December 16, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on December 8, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Mary V. Brown (Winstead) and Clifford N. Brown, as well as his two brothers, Edwin Brown and Richard Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen Brown (Parr), with whom he shared 54 years of marriage, brother, Robert Brown, his four children: Tressa M. DeBorde (Gary), Steven R. Brown (Kim), Belinda K. Settles (Jeff), and Brian J. Brown (Heaven), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald was known for his service to the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974, as well as his dedication and commitment to his work, retiring from the federal government after 30 years of service. His greatest accomplishment was being married to his loving wife, Maureen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. 

Funeral services will then be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 12:00pm, with visitation from 10:00am until time of funeral, at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
