Donald Edgar Downin, aged 83, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2018. Born on March 15, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Monique (Bertin) Downin; children, Fred (Thresa) Downin, Patricia (Chris) Ranalli, Michael (Shannon) Downin, Daniel (Kelly) Downin and Donald Downin, 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous others who lovingly called him PaPaw. He is also survived by sister Elaine Messenger, many nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
Don proudly served his country in the US Army.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 23 at Groveport Zion Lutheran Church, 6014 Groveport Road, Groveport, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in his name to Groveport Zion Lutheran Church.
