Donald E. Ellinwood, 64, of Columbus, left us on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in the company of his best friend and soulmate, Willa Dawn Ellinwood. Don was born in Findlay, OH on April 20, 1951, to the late Raymond and Gertrude (Neubig) Ellinwood.
He is survived by his son, David Ellinwood; daughters, Jackie Spurlock and Jill Turrin; sister, Joan Hatch; brother, Ray (Nina) Ellinwood; 4 grandchildren and many friends.
Don was a humble, kind and selfless man and remained so through his four year battle with cancer.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 24, 2016, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, with the Memorial Service at 4 PM.
