Donald E. Groves, 89, of New Albany, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Don was born in Licking County to the late Ed and Tillie (Corbin) Groves and is survived by family and friends. Don was a life member of Elks Lodge #37, was a Golden Eagle at the Linden Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a WWII Navy Veteran. Don was also a self employed electrical contractor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
