Donald "Don" Harvey

Donald “Don” Harvey passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 91. He was dearly loved by his five‑generation family, who cherished his compassion, encouragement, generosity, and sense of humor.

Don was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Grove City. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie; his parents James and Marie; his sister Mary; his brother Jim; and son-in-law Ron.

He is survived by his children: Christy Harvey, Brenda Rushin, Mike Harvey (Sheri), Teresa Kohan (John), and Sheryl Salvadore (Ed). He is also survived by his brother-in-law Berkley Biggs, and stepchildren: Jacquie Kensler, Shana Franz (Dave), and Larisa Goforth. He was blessed with 24 grandchildren, 28 great‑grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Don graduated from Hamilton Township High School, served in the United States Army, and was employed by American Standard, Sumner & Company, and Horton Ambulance. He was a former member of the Columbus Aqua Ski Club and Moose Lodge #11.

Don loved to travel, eating Friday lunches with his friends weekly, and watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
