SCOTT
Donald L Scott, born in Uniontown PA., having finished his earthly jobs, now abides with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by parents, Don H. Scott and Virginia (Stewart) Scott; sister, Connie (Bob) Barber and many aunts and uncles. Survived by wife, Sydney Scott; step children Jessica (Joe) Rice and Thomas (Stephanie) Imes of Duncan Oklahoma; mother-in-law Margaret Miller; special aunt Dicie Scott of Smithville WV; sisters Cathy Richardson of Carroll Ohio and Renee (Paul) Blakely of Columbus; special friends Virgie and Dale Barker, Rod Barker all of West Virginia, and "Parky Buds" George and Kathy Hakes and Dave and Della Purdy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends. Donnie was most proud to be a lifetime Bengals fan, having seen all NFL teams play against them, an excellent bowler and a blood donor having donated 13 gallons in his lifetime. He had served as superintendent of the King Knob Church, Ritchie County WV and was a member of Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Family and friends will gather on Friday, February 26, 2016, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service at 4PM. In addition, visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016, 12 noon – 2PM at McCullough-Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville WV with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be at King Knob Cemetery, Harrisville, WV. Family would like to thank the staff of Crown Pointe Care Center and Tridia Hospice for exceptional care and love given to Donnie over his last two years.
