Donald Anthony Seberig took his place in the Kingdom of Heaven on November 28, 2025. Born October 3, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, He was proceeded in death by his wife of 59 years, Sharon. He is survived by his three Daughters, Christine Decker (Mark), Kimberly Seberig (Shawn Mercer), and Tracy Carsey (Bobby). His three Grandchildren, Donald Decker (Ciarra), Jacob Carsey, and Lucas Carsey (Trentin), and his five Great-Grandchildren, Joshua, Ayvah, Carrera, Raylyn, and Oaklyn.
Don spent much of his life serving the citizens of Franklin County, Ohio as a Deputy Sheriff, a career he loved and took great pride in. In his spare time he could be found spending summer days on his porch, and Saturdays in the fall cheering on his beloved Buckeyes.
He was an avid lover of the Holidays, most especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. He enjoyed the simple things in life, a cookout surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends, an afternoon spent by the pool, a quick trip for Johnsons Ice Cream, spending Saturdays watching Ohio State with the Dome Boys, or a weekend getaway with his wife.
He met Sharon at 16 years old, they would go on to spend over Sixty years together. He was a devoted family man, who loved his wife and Children more than anything, taking great pride in being a loving, faithful and helpful husband. He took even more pride in being a Father and Grandfather, guiding and loving his children and grandchildren every step of the way.
He loved his family and friends deeply, and was selfless in everything he did. He was a smart, gentle man, who was always giving of his time and energy. He was impactful, and always strived to help and support others. His lasting legacy will live on through the years to come.
Although you are no longer here, we take comfort in knowing you are in the Arms of our Lord. Alongside your wife, and a rejuvenated spirit in Heaven, we know you are at peace, and we look forward to the day we can gather again.
He was larger than life, and lived and loved with purpose and passion. A true example of what we should all strive to be, he was The Perfect Man.
