Donald is lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane Thomas; his daughter, Michelle (Jason) Schaub; and his cherished grandchildren, Austin (Francesca) Schaub, Keegan Schaub, and Dillon Schaub. He took great pride in his family and found immense joy in watching it grow across generations.

He is also survived by his siblings, Daryle (Ernie) Hamilton and Diana (Russ) Reich; his nieces and nephews, Christy Finch, Thomas (Barb) Hamilton, Bethany (Ryan) Lesniewski, and Adam (Sarah) Reich; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews, including Renee (Joe) Boudreau, Jana (Lucas) Shaffer, Caitlynn Hamilton, Cody Hamilton, Owen Lesniewski, Keeley Reich, and Patrick Reich; and great-great-nieces and nephews, Addie Boudreau, Kristopher Boudreau, Benton Shaffer, and Liv Shaffer.
