Doneta Lou Berry, 84, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 in Columbus, OH. She was born on December 16, 1929 in Casper, WY to James and Lucy (Wilson) Regan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 63 years, Lee Eugene Berry.
She is survived by his son, Kelly Berry; daughter, Corby (Jeffrey) Whitesel; adopted daughter, Brenda (Jim) Dunfee; grandchildren, Carla and Chris Channell, James (Missy) Billingsley, Elizabeth Berry, Michelle (Don) Hughes, and Nathan (Ayanna) Berry; great grandchildren, Devon, Savannah, Madison, Chase, Shelby, Samantha, Chance, Isaac and Isaiah.
Doneta retired from General Electric Diamond Innovations after working there for over 30 years. She enjoyed making Swedish Weave throws and was a terrific cook. She loved spending time with her family, and cooking large meals during family gatherings; including her signature dish: Awesome Chili. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Family will receive friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2014 followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm at Maize Road Baptist Church, 4251 Maize Rd. Columbus, OH 43224, officiated by Pastor Brett Castle.
