Donna Atwood

Donna L (Haddox) Atwood, age 81, passed away on June 24, 2025 in Carroll, OH. Donna was one of nine children born to Donald and Elsea (Little) Barton on June 22, 1944 in Newark, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Barbara Sutherland and husband, Bill Haddox. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard Atwood, her son, Steven Haddox (Danette) and daughter Lori Chamberlin (Richard), grandchildren, Devin and Darrian Haddox, Rick Chamberlin (Allison) and "her Girl," Candace McKee (Chad), great grandchildren, Austen, Ayden, Ainslee, Liberty, Justice, Honor and Kane, sisters, Joyce Bonham, Dottie Ward (Bill), Sue Lawson (Eldon) and June Palm (Doug), brothers, John Barton (Karen), Ron Barton (Linda) and Charles Barton (Susie), as well as many nieces and nephews, and her Forever Friend, Bonnie.

Donna retired from the Reynolds Aluminum Company in Ashville, OH and served as Clerk for the Village of Ashville. After retirement she volunteered for Mt. Carmel Hospital and being an avid reader that she was, she worked many hours at local libraries, tended her flower garden, and enjoyed the ladies of her Bible Study Circle.

She was much loved and will be missed even more.

The family will hold a private memorial celebration at a later date.
