Donna Jo Morgan, 59, of Sunbury, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
She was born December 18, 1957, in Miami, Florida, daughter of the late Sheridan Robert Woods and Dolra Jean Easterday Puttick.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, John Raymond Morgan Jr.; niece, Angela Marie Sova; stepfather, Hugh Puttick; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Helen Virginia Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, John Raymond Morgan; son, Christopher Ray Morgan; sisters, Sherry (Vic) Kibler, Deborah (Mike) Rutherford, Patricia (John) Scholl, Janice Woods and Susan (James) Sova; brother, Jeff (Diana) Woods; brothers-in-law, Tyler Morgan and Jim Kroninger; special pet, Sunflower and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday March 2, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Blue Church Cemetery.
