Doris Ellen Coyer

Doris Ellen Coyer, born on March 27, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, passed this life October 16, 2026.

Doris was preceded in death by husband of 16 years, Claine Budy Coyer, Father, Lee J. Embrey, mother, Laura E. Embrey, sisters Lila Edwards, Rhonda Norris, son, Donald L. Babbitt and granddaughter, Nicole Bennett.

She is survived by son, Thomas (Billie) Babbitt, daughter in law, Tamie Babbitt, sister, Rita Langley, and brother in law, Ken Norris, and stepchildren Gary Coyer, Larry (Rhonda) Barnhart, (Mark) Lori Teagul, Charlie Laflin, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Doris was baptized in Jesus’ name on May 26, 1972 and received Holy Ghost May 30, 1972. She and late husband, Claine resided in Lake Wales, Florida for 16 years. He was baptized at Turn Point by Pastor Arata in Jesus’ name and received Holy Ghost in baptistry on August 9, 2015. Claine passed away in December of the same year.

Doris returned to Columbus on April 1, 2016, and attended TurnPoint Apostolic Church with her family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 1:00PM at TurnPoint Apostolic Church, 7718 Groveport Road, Groveport, Ohio 43125.
