Doris Elizabeth Rodgers, 79, of Gahanna, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 2, 1936 at home in German Village, daughter of the late John and Helen Plank Grinstead.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Kevin John Rodgers and nine siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Rodgers; sons, Stephen Theodore, Matthew Christopher (Jennifer), Ronald David (Jennifer) and Patrick Michael Rodgers; brother, Earl Grinstead; grandchildren, Emily (Paul) Ingram, Eric and Evan Rodgers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12:00-3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101.
