Dorman Mccreary

Dorman Franklin "Frank" McCreary, 80, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Center under Hospice care.
He was born August 26, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio. The son of the late James L. McCreary and Dorothy (Butler) McCreary.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by siblings, William McCreary, Louis McCreary, George McCreary, Joseph McCreary, James R. McCreary and sister, Janice McCreary.
He retired from the Columbus Public School system with over 30 years of service.
Frank was known to his nieces and nephews as "Uncle Frank".
Left to cherish his memory are Frank's siblings, Marvin McCreary, Carolyn McCreary, Senie Saunders, Phillip McCreary and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., with visitation one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
Frank will be remembered for his Jazz Prowess, quick wit and amazing since of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
