Dorothy H. Fischer

Dorothy H. Fischer, age 94, of Westerville, passed away on June 18, 2017. She was born January 21, 1923 in Chicago, IL. to the late Arthur and Frieda (Borne) Johnson. She lived there most of her life until she and her husband, Chuck, retired to Lakeview, Arkansas, where they lived for 33 years before moving to Westerville. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed by son Ken (Bonnie) Fischer of Westerville; daughter Nancy (Dave) Wearne of Falcon Heights, MN; grandchildren, Ken (Kathy) Fischer of Columbus, Kate Wearne of Oakland, CA, Laura (Eric) Quackenbush of Andover, MN; great-grandchildren, Maura, Kenny, Norah and Connor. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Fischer and sister Eleanor Madsen.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 1-3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00PM at the funeral home.
