Dorothy L. Scott, 64, passed away on January 12, 2015. She was born on March 28, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Dorothy M. (Everetts) Thompson, son, Michael Daugherty. Surviving family includes children, Tonita (Michael) Derreberry, Kimberly Daugherty, brother, Ronald (Katrina) Thompson, nephew, Nicholas Thompson, 8 grandchildren Michael Derreberry, Trent Derreberry, Skylar Derreberry, Taylor Sampson, Casey Daugherty, Kaylee Young, Seth Daugherty and Kaylynn Daugherty, and 1 great-grandchild Gannon Davidson.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Tonita Derreberry.
