Dorothy Louise Calhoun

Dorothy Louise (Ryan) Calhoun, 93 of Columbus, passed away at her residence on August 22, 2016. Born on October 11, 1922 to the late Gilbert Abbott and Lulu Opal (Brown) Ryan in Columbus, OH. Survived by husband of 70 years David Brooks Calhoun, children David Dean Calhoun (Ela), Donald Brooks Calhoun and Diane Louise Calhoun Krichbaum (Steve), grandchildren Erin Lee Calhoun (Deric), Damion Douglas Armentrout (Beth), Kelly Ann Calhoun, Sabra Armentrout Hickey (Tom) and Xandon Calhoun Johnson (Corinne), great grandchildren Marlaine Johnson, Linus Johnson, a great grandson due in the fall and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother Gilbert Abbott Ryan Jr. and a niece Cheryl Ryan. The family would like to give a very special thank you to our brother Freddy Calhoun for all the special love and care that he gave.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 2pm until time of service at 4pm.

Burial will be held on Monday, August 29 at 12pm at Union Cemetery (New), Columbus, OH.
