Dorothy M. Mills

Dorothy M. Mills, 82, of Commercial Point, OH, passed away on January 28, 2014. She was born in Martin County, KY on April 30, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Bertha Cassady, siblings, Robert, Mida, Ruth, Jane, daughter, Cheryl Ann Holsomback, grandson, Larry Hanshaw Jr. and his mother Janet.

Surviving family includes, sister, Kathleen Bonner, children, Larry Hanshaw, Theresa Penrose (Larry Stone), Ronnie Hanshaw, Timothy Hanshaw Sr.(Sophia Taylor), grandchildren, Timothy Hanshaw Jr., Nacole Brunner, Candy Snyder, Jeanette Prekope, Trish Baker, and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

A funeral service will be held at 12pm, Monday, February 3, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.

The family would like to thank the staff of Monterey Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for their outstanding care and support during this difficult journey.
