Dorothy Mae (Schulze) Banik, 82 of Columbus, passed away at Mt. Carmel West on March 8, 2014. Born on December 19, 1931 to the late Carl and Bertha Mae (Clark) Schulze in Columbus, Ohio. Survived by children Carl David (Anna) Banik, Mary Martha Banik and Michael (Jodi) Banik, grandchildren Soni Ann Banik, David (Shelley) Banik, Joshua (Jessica) Banik, Joshua (Kristen) Snyder and Justin Snyder, great grandchildren Joshua Snyder, II, Jensen Banik and AvaLynn Snyder, special friend Don (JR) Croy. Preceded in death by husband Philip E. Banik, siblings Carl V. Schulze, Jr., and Jackie Higgins.

Funeral service at The Southwest Freewill Baptist Church, 1542 Greenleaf Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43223 on Friday at 10am with Pastor John Meade officiating.
Burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
