Dorothy J. Painter, 82, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy was born on December 5, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to Clifford and Doris Obetz.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Paul, Ruth, Robert, Esther, Audrey, and Donnie.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Ned) Miller, William (Jennifer) Watson, and Melody Painter; grandchildren, Joseph, Ned (Jennifer), Tina, and Nathan (Diane); great-grandchild, Ethan; sister, Virginia Finnerty; and many other loving family members and friends.
Dorothy was a graduate of Central High School in Columbus, OH. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Dorothy's honor. Please leave a message of condolence for the family during this difficult time.
