Doug Wilder, age 57 of Columbus,went to be with his Lord on August 21, 2019. He was born on October 10, 1961 to the late Rev. Cecil Wayne and Kathryn (Lawson) Wilder in Columbus, OH. Doug graduated from Northland High School and Anderson University with a BA degree. He was an avid creation science advocate, he enjoyed model rocketry and collected fossils. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Ada Lacine Wilder. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Krista (Roberts) Wilder, son Will Wilder, siblings Marsha Wilder and Wayne (Charlene) Wilder, and host of nieces, nephews and cousins, father-in-law Harold Roberts, sisters-in-law Andrea Hale and Sharon Hale.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10am until time of service at 11am with Rev. David Lewis officiating.
