Dwight Blamer, 83, of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Heartland of Uptown Westerville.
He was born April 29, 1933 in Columbus, son of the late James and Mary Simmons Blamer.
In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Blamer and brother, Herbert Blamer.
He is survived by his children, Steve (Irene) Blamer, Lisa Blamer and Scott (Susan) Blamer; brother, Robert (Dorothy) Blamer; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Bartholow, Lisa Lane, Vicki (John) Ackerman, Trent Blamer and Nicholas Blamer; great grandchildren, Cody Lane, Gabriel Bartholow, Corey Lane, Landon Ackerman, Joshua Ackerman, Haleigh Bartholow and Holly Bartholow.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kobacker House 800 McConnell Drive Columbus, OH 43214.
