Ed passed peacefully at his home after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He retired after 39 years of service at Williams and Company. He was a gifted saxophonist and played with Men in Blue, The Wayne Martin Band, Don Beck and several other groups in Columbus, Delaware and Newark. Ed was a man of faith and was very involved with Rural Chapel United Methodist Church of Galena, Ohio. He served in work missions in Maine, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Alabama and the state up North. He served on the board of Big Walnut Friends Who Share. Ed was a fun loving and active person who enjoyed fishing, camping, wind surfing, boating, water skiing and eating!

He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He was an avid collector of movies and music (with his true love being jazz). Ed loved unconditionally and touched the lives of so many people.

His biggest highlight in life was watching his grandchildren grow. He selflessly supported them in all of their endeavors. His life inspired all of us and we can only hope to be the person he was.
