Earle Matlock Foxworth, 76, of Columbus, OH, passed away May 14, 2026. Earle Foxworth was born September 2, 1949 in Saint Louis, MO. to Robert and Katye Foxworth.
Earle Foxworth lived a vibrant life dedicated to music, faith, and creativity. As a gifted multi-instrumentalist, he shared his soul through the piccolo, flute, and alto saxophone. Earle's musical journey took him across the nation on tour with Jesus Christ Superstar and through the St. Louis music scene with his band, 5 Of A Kind.
After moving to Columbus, Ohio, Earle became a devoted member of the Rhema Christian Center. He faithfully offered his talents to God, playing the flute in the church band and uplifting congregations across Columbus and St. Louis.
Outside of music, Earle was a passionate photographer and an avid lover of gadgets, always excited by new technology. His creative spirit, warm heart, and joyful melodies leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Earle will be deeply missed by his wife: Theresa Foxworth of 47 years; Children: Beverly (Dennis) Perkins, Everett Foxworth, Darris Foxworth, Omega Brown, Andrea (Dwight) Coates, Andre (Tasha) Brown; Grandchildren: Ramond Brown, Destinee Hill, Kenia Brown, Dalen Coates, Leana Brown, Camden Brown; Great-grandchild: Alaiya Strickland. Brother: Khatib (Loretta) Waheed; Sisters: Anita Foxworth, Kathy Foxworth; Nephew: Keith (Candice) Foxworth, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Earle was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Kayte Foxworth, brother Bruce Foxworth, Sisters Pamela and Lisa Foxworth.
Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Memorial services will be Friday, May 29, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.at the funeral home with Elder Jeff Watts.
