Earlene Lorraine Wiley passed away on January 14, 2015 at the Kobacker House after a long illness with COPD. She was born November 26, 1945 to Earl and Lena Fitzgerald in Parkersburg, WVa. Earlene worked as a Hair Stylist for 20 years before moving to Columbus in 1985. She then worked for Community Refugee and Immigration Services and retired in 2005. She was an active member at Christ Memorial Baptist Church, under the tutelage of Pastor Shedrick L. Fowler, where she often took her two oldest grandsons to Sunday school. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters; Mary Williams, Charlotte Brydie, and Lena Carter and husbands John McKinley Donaway (Parkersburg, WVa) and Carl Wiley (Columbus, OH). She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Sean (Chris) Donaway, Shena Coston, Johnna White and Trisha Donaway; brothers Robert, Larry, Timothy, William and Rickey Fitzgerald; sisters Carolyn Cummings, Geraldine Cannon, Pamela Fitzgerald-Bolte, Roseann (Herman) Noble, Charlene Fitzgerald, Marlene Fitzgerald and Leona Scott; uncle Floyd Willis; 15 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren; special friend Cora Bernard Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday January 23 from 11 till noon at Christ Memorial Baptist Chruch 3330 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, where a funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Shedrick L. Fowler at noon. Earlene's final resting place will be Spring Grove Cemetery, Parkersburg, WVa where a small service will be held at noon on Saturday Jan. 24.
