Edgar Hamlin, 97, passed away on March 26, 2018. He was born on July 9, 1920.
He retired from COTA as a bus driver and was a WWII Army veteran and was a Purple Heart recipient. He is reunited in heaven with loving wife Dorothy of 64 years and a great-grandchild he is meeting for the first time. Also preceded in death by sister, Josephine Foster and brother, Gomer Hamlin.
Surviving family includes daughters, Ruth Ann (Glenn) Moore of Westminster, S.C., Connie (Mike) Riley of Grove City, OH, Patty (Ron) Schorr of Plain City, OH, 5 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9-10am, Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 10am by Pastor Mike Purdon.
Entombment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
