Edgar Ronald Tague

Edgar Ronald "Ron" Tague, age 73 of Pataskala, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born on June 25, 1944 to the late Edgar A. and Evelyn J. (Rothgeb) Tague in Columbus, OH. Graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1962, volunteer firefighter for West Licking Joint Fire District, West Licking Firefighter's Association member, President for 20 years, was an advisor for the West Licking Explorer Post, assisted with purchasing and setting up a smoke house for the district, and assists with the Support Truck, Summit Seniors Treasurer since 2012, cooked and served meals at Faith Mission with Cross Point Christian Church, where he attended. Ron was a Data Processing with Rockwell and a System Analyst for Tween Brands. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Linda (Koehler) Tague, children Lori (Jim) Anthony and Jeni (Brett) Shriver, grandchildren Melody Anthony, Chase and Tanner Shriver, sister Janice (Herb) Van Dyke, sister-in-law Norma Lee Ziegler, Lou Ann Underwood and Sue Koehler, many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5pm until time of memorial service at 7pm with Jim Kincaid officiating.
