Edith Mae Collins

Edith Mae Collins, born on August 10, 1939, in Pilgrim, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. She dedicated many years of her life to serving the community as a bus driver for South-Western City Schools, where she became a beloved figure known for her kindness and care.

Edith had a warm and loving personality. She cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren, always placing family at the center of her life. Her legacy will be carried on through her loved ones, including her husband, Bobby Collins; her daughter, Barb Lotz, who is married to Bill; and her grandchildren, Dustin, Daryl (Amie), Derek (Danna), Deisel, Bailee, Devyn, and Chloee. Edith also leaves behind many siblings who will remember her fondly.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Collins, her parents, Earnest and Florence Hale, and five siblings. Edith Mae Collins will be remembered for the joy she brought to her family and all those whose lives she touched.
