Edna M. Vance, age 89, of Galloway passed peacefully under the care of Mt. Carmel Palliative Care on Sunday, February 26, 2017.
She was born on September 16, 1927 in Columbus to the late Orville and Myrtle (Kissell) Huffman.
She was retired from General Motors Corporation. Edna enjoyed fishing and bowling with her late husband, Jim.
She was secretary/treasury of retirees bowling league for over 25 years. She also enjoyed playing Euchre with her friends at York Steak House.
She is survived by her son, Tom (Jennifer) Davis; daughter, Betty Ann (Granville) Hinton; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; also survived by brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by husband, James C. Vance; sons, James W. Vance and Timothy C. Vance.
Friends may call from 10-12pm, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where funeral services will be held following at 12:00pm.
Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
