Edna Wright

Edna Marie Wright, 84, passed away August 5, 2014 at Kobacker House. She won her fight against Alzheimer's as she was led to the Lord by her son, Danny and knows exactly where she is going to spend eternity.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie and Homer Wright; brothers, Clarence Robert, Charles Oliver and Raymond Eugene Wright; sisters, Ella Irene Fife, Rosa Mae Burnett and Catherine Louise Marino.

Edna is survived by her son, Danny Joe (Bobbi) Wright; grandchildren, Ryan, Chaz, Jinni and Nick; special friend of many years, Bob Phillips; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Edna worked at General Motors for 32 and a half years and touched many peoples lives. She loved singing Karaoke and making people laugh. Edna attended Bible Baptist Church in Grove City, OH. She was also a previous member of Moose Lodge #11 and NAUS 15A American Legion Auxiliary Post #532.

Visitation Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 9am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at 2pm at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Patriot, OH, Gallia County.
