Edward B. Murray, 94 Grove City, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born in Bourneville, OH on June 8, 1921, to the late George and Ethel Mae (Miller) Murray and is also preceded in death by his wife, Naomi (Swank) Murray and daughter, Cindy Murray.
He is survived by sisters, Ruth Cornwell, Viola J. Williamson, Dorothy L.Voytko and brother, David Thorton Murray; children, Pearl (Hazel) Murray of Columbus, OH, Herbert Murray, Columbus, Robert (Betty) Murray of Columbus, Bert (Janet) Murray, of Stockport, OH, Mary (Barry) Holder of Alvin, TX, Margo (Tim) Ortman, of Grove City, OH; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Eddie was last employed by Manheim Ohio Auto Auction where he made many lasting friends and finally retired at 89 years of age.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, 10-11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with the Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
