Edward Jones, 87, of Columbus, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was born April 21, 1926 in Columbus, son of the late Greenleaf and Catherine (Lusby) Jones.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Martha (Scherr) Jones; son, Brian and Rita Jones; granddaughter, Melody Jones; brothers, Robert Jones and Ken and Grace Jones.
Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 PM at St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet St. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the church.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
