Edward Junior Smith, 80 of Columbus, passed away at Columbus West Park on October 17, 2013. Born on September 25, 1933 to the late Russell and Evelyn (Burgess) Smith in Fayette County, WV. Survived by sons Eddie and Michael Smith, daughters Linda Crandall, Pamela Myers/Scott Smith, Bertha Smith Manley/Ronald, and Penny Warfel/Hank, sister Kathleen Harrah, 22 grandchildern, 58 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy Smith, daughter Robin McGuire, grandchildren Dana Lee Smith, Sophia Laubensheimer, Gabriel Large and Jeffrey Smith, sisters Madeline Conkle, Phyllis Way, Carolyn Coons.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, Grove City on Tuesday from 11am until time of service at 1:30pm with Rev. Curtis Sheets officiating.
Burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
