Elaine Mae Hart, 81, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Kobacker House.
She was born October 7, 1936 in Columbus, daughter of the late Lincoln Gerald and Margaret Leona Basher Cochran.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Curtis Hart; son, Wesley Aaron Hart; brother, Bill Cochran; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Margaret Hart; brothers-in-law, David and Samuel Hart; sisters-in-law, Patricia Thomas and Mary Lou Cochran.
She was a professional dancer before she met the love of her life Wesley Hart.
Elaine also enjoyed antiques, crafting, puzzles, bread, butter, and salt.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura ( Rigo "Suave") Hart and Andrea (Christopher) Hartley; sister, Eleanor DeSabato; brother, Bob Cochran; grandchildren, Chelsie (Chris), Kaitlynde, Nickolas, Michael, California and Lilly; great grandchildren, Zayne and Xayden and many nieces, nephews, friends and beloved dog, Lula.
Memorial service for Elaine & Wesley Hart will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 3005 Holt Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
Elaine's main focus was her family.
She had an unconditional love for all of her family and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
