Elaine Ruth Turner, Sunrise August 27, 1937. Sunset November 12, 2018, on Angel wings she went to heaven.
Beloved sister of Lois Burge and Oscar Walker. Mother of Lawrence Turner Jr., Lori Benton and Tracy Turner. A warm and loving grandmother to Candace, Ashleigh, Fairrin and Tracy Young, Lawrence Turner III, Ron, Ken, Veda, Margurita, Shandez, Remarion, Calesha, Erik, Jalelle, Kamari and Eriyannah; and special friend, Mildred Madre.
Preceded in death by husband, Lawrence Albert Turner Sr., and parents, Oscar and Georgia Walker.
Elaine loved music and sang with several choirs throughout Columbus. She also enjoyed cooking, family gathering and loved The Lord. Elaine graduated from Grove City High School, Class of 1956.
A special word of thanks to Union Baptist Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Help for their continuous prayers and support during Elaine's respite at Monterey.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 3452 First Avenue, Urbancrest, OH 43123, where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery - New Section, Grove City, OH.
