Elean Tussey, 92, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 in Westerville, OH. Elean was born on July 14, 1925 in Webbville, KY to the late Sherman and Mable Hunnicutt.
Elean is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Tussey; mother, Mattie Hunnicutt and brothers, Leighton Hunnicutt and Max Justice.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Weber; grandson, Bryan (Maria) Barlow; sisters, Dorothy (Hager) Howell, Doris (Paul) Thompson, Rebecca (James) Sherrod; brother, Hassell (Dewilene) Hunnicutt; numerous nieces and nephews.
Elean was a teacher in Kentucky prior to moving to Columbus. She was later employed for over 23 years at Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Co. Elean was a member of The American Baptist Church of Westerville.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11am at Blendon Central Cemetery.
