Eleanor Gayle"Mamaw" Porter

Eleanor Gayle "Mamaw" Porter, 92, of Columbus, passed away at Wexner Heritage House on May 1, 2015. Born on April 29, 1923 to the late Hubert and Verna (Cassel) Keaton in Stephens, KY. Member of Gold Star Mothers. Retired from the Athletic Club of Columbus, loved gardening, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family. Survived by children Joseph E. (Vickie) Porter and Lisa (Mike) Frabott, grandchildren Amber (Justin) Babcock, Michael (Chrissie) Porter, Bryan Frabott, Leslie (Robert) DePietro and Kyle (Amanda) Frabott, great grandson Braedon Frabott, cousin Lois Keaton Cain, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Harry "Gamble" Porter, son Michael Lee Porter and brother Edgar Keaton.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4 to 7pm.

Funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11am.

Burial to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
