Elizabeth Ann Hamilton

Elizabeth A. Olon Hamilton, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2020. She was born January 27, 1965, in Indian Head, Maryland, and at five days old was taken home by her adoptive parents Frederick and Maryellen (Pearson) Olon. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Michael (Haily) Collmar, Courtney Collmar and Madison Hamilton; grandchildren, Robert and Andrew Collmar; two brothers William Olon and Louis Olon; and a sister, Susan Olon Gaughan; former husbands Michael Collmar and Troy Hamilton; stepmother, Ruth Olon; and by many special nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Beth resided in Columbus for most of her life. She graduated from St. Francis DeSales in 1983. She spent much of her 35-year career in the finance and insurance industries, beginning at an entry-level position but quickly gained skills that led to many promotions. She was a very generous and caring person, always there to help someone in need, which cultivated many relationships and friendships. Beth was intelligent, quick-witted, a true friend and will be missed by many. Visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 from 4 pm to 6 pm with a memorial service following at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
