Elizabeth "Ruth" Jones, 86, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Columbus, OH. Ruth was born on April 18, 1930 in Beaver, OH to Hensley and Amanda Curnutte.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; two half-brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Wayne T. Jones; children, Deborah Luther, Bruce (Teresa) Jones, and Jeffrey (Mindy) Jones; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Carol Peiter.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00am also at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693.
