Elizabeth Sarpong, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH. Elizabeth was born on August 16, 1948 in Kumasi, Ghana West Africa to Nana and Mary Opoku.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father; sisters, Yaa Pokuwaa and Akua Achiaa; and brother, Yaw Sarpong.
She is survived by her children, Nana (Elizabeth) Sarpong, Michael Sarpong, Randall Sarpong, Vivian (Bismark) Sarpong, Chee-Chee Sarpong, and Olivia Sarpong; mother, Mary Opoku; fifteen grandchildren; brothers, Kofi Opoku and Kwaku Gyatuah; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 7:00am to 9:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr. Columbus, OH 43229 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am. She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
