Elizabeth K. Vincent, lovingly known as Liz, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on March 21, 1947, in Columbus, she lived a life full of warmth and joy, touching the lives of many with her outgoing and bubbly spirit. Liz was a faithful Catholic and a cherished member of Holy Family Church, where she found comfort and community.
Liz was a proud graduate of Grandview High School and furthered her education at Columbus State Community College. She devoted much of her professional life as an Administrative Coordinator at Ranco and was a dedicated OSU Red Coat for over 30 years, roles she held with great pride and commitment.
She loved to sing, whether at church, in her car, or just for the happiness it brought. Liz had a special fondness for bodies of water and enjoyed traveling, especially to places like Germany, Austria, and Ireland. Her zest for life and her friendly nature meant she never met a stranger and was well loved by all who knew her.
Family was at the heart of Liz’s world. She was a proud mother of two healthy, wise sons, Michael Vincent and Brian Vincent. Liz is also lovingly remembered by her sister Patty Frankford and niece Lisa (Paul) Naylor. Her great nieces, Susan Hess and Jamie Hess, along with her great nephew William Hess, and great great niece Willow Chambers, hold her memory dear. She also leaves behind brothers-in-law Don (Adele) Vincent, Charlie (Karen) Vincent, Paul Vincent, Thomas (Denise) Vincent, Matt (Kellie) Vincent, and Mark Vincent.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Richard and Ruth (Reddy) Fordyce; her sister Vickie Lamb; brother-in-law William Frankford; brothers-in-law David Vincent and Monroe Vincent; and sister-in-law Sharon Turner.
Liz’s life was marked by her love for family, her faith, and her joyful spirit. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure to know her.
