Eloise (Ellie) Moore passed away on November 25, 2025. Survived by daughter Sherri More of Columbus, OH, granddaughter Kristen Kincaid of Yardley, PA, son-in-law Michael Kincaid of Pennington, NJ, and nephew Rod Reynolds & family of Ripley, WV. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 62 years, Pete Moore, and loving daughter, Lynn "Cookie" Kincaid.
Ellie loved her family very much and the excitement of adventure. The summers spent with family on Long Beach Island, NF and the cruises with her girls were very special times, along with sharing good times with dear friends, hot air ballooning, parasailing and her biggest thrill of all was flying in The Red Baron airplane with a WWII pilot. She was definitely a "Free Spirit." We will miss her presence. Her memory we will treasure. Loving her always and forgetting her never.
She was a founding member of Epworth Methodist Church 5100 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH 43229 to which contributions may be made in her memory. After cremation, burial will be private.
Ellie especially liked the following poem and wanted to share it.
The Little Ship
I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea.
The setting sun tinted it's white sails with golden light.
As it disappeared from sight, a voice by my side whispered, "She is gone."
But the sea was a narrow one.
On the farther shore a little band of friends gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation.
Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail and at that very moment when my companion had whispered, "She is gone" a glad shout went up in joyous welcome. "Here she comes!"
