Elsie Geneva Young, 94, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at her residence.
She was born January 15, 1921 in Columbus, daughter of the late Clyde and Elsie Huey Martin.
In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Glenford Earl Young.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Kenny) Wood, Sharon (Tom) Dern and Gloria Power; grandchildren, Nancy (Jim) Edgar, Traci (Bob) Castle, Kimberly (Pascal) Wasnaire, Stephanie Sanderson, Michael (Marleen Hoyos) Cruikshank and Jay Keller; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with visitation one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-FRAO 5555 Frantz Rd Dublin, OH 43017.
