Elton Wayne Howe III, 60, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Phyllis Jones Howe Jr.
Elton was born September 11, 1953 in Columbus.
He was a 1972 graduate of Worthington High School and attended The Ohio State University.
Elton served in the Navy during Vietnam.
He worked for the Ohio Department of Public Safety with over 28 years of service.
Elton was an avid sportsmen and hunter. He is survived by a daughter, Amanda M. (Tripp) Vitto; best friend and companion, Dorothy Kenyon; brother, Phillip M. (Kate) Howe; sisters, Patricia (D. Ward) Tilton and Christine L. (David) Miller; a niece, a nephew and four cousins.
There will be a private service for the family.
