Elvira Lydia (Sell) Sallach, 95, of Columbus, formerly of Chesterland, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017.
Elvira was born July 25, 1922, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, to the late Peter George and Lydia (Seesholtz) Sell.
She was preceded in death by Max E. Sallach, her husband of 51 years.
Elvira graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a registered occupational therapist and worked for many years at the Bessie Benner Metzenbaum Opportunity School in Chesterland, Ohio as a home training consultant.
Elvira will be deeply missed by her children Marilyn (Jim) Hines, Lynda (Jim) Madison, Donald (Maureen) Sallach; grandchildren Kevin (Amber) Hines, Scott (Melissa) Hines, Megan (Stephen) Isenberg, Audrey Madison; great-grandchildren Colin and Frances Hines, and Elias Isenberg.
Memorial services will be Friday, August 18, 2017, at 3 pm at Wesley Glen 5155 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to North Broadway United Methodist Church, Columbus, Ohio.
