Elwood "Woody" Collins, 85, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Doctors Hospital West surrounded by his family and friends.
Elwood was born February 17, 1933 in Genoa West Virginia to the late Jeff and Lydia (Thompson) Collins.
He loved vacations, hunting, and fishing and enjoyed gardening.
He was married to Betty J. (Collins) for 62 years.
Elwood will be deeply missed by his wife; brothers Eddie (Charlotte), Billy; sisters Mary Fuller all of Kenova, WVa Ruby Jones of Ashland, KY and many nieces and nephews.
Elwood was preceded in death by his brother Tommy and sister Dixie.
Visitation Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
