Emma J. Schoenberger

Emma J. Schoenberger nee Pinatiello, age 93, passed away Saturday December 23, 2017. She was born on August 15, 1924 in Columbus, OH.
Emma will be remembered as a kind, loving woman who was very proud of her strong work ethic. She was employed at Burgermiester, Planks on Parsons, Beulah Park, CORC, American Legion-Southway Post #144 and Caterer's 3. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing Bingo, watching game shows and spending time at the casino. She showered her family with greeting cards stuffed with confetti and various treats around the holidays.
Surviving family includes children, Barbara Maupin, Christina (Joseph Stout) Lawrence, Wayne Schoenberger, Lucille (Michael) Cremeans, Louis Schoenberger, Lorraine (Damon Ward) Baxter, Daniel Schoenberger and Scott Schoenberger; 21 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Aloysius J. Schoenberger Sr. and her son, Aloysius Schoenberger Jr.; brothers, Michael, Robert and John; sisters, Mary and Jeanette.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, where funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to your favorite charity.
