Enrico "Rick" Del Chicco

Enrico "Rick" Del Chicco, age 75, of Galloway, Ohio, for over 47 years, passed away on January 12, 2026. Born on April 4, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, Rick was a man who lived his life with honesty and humor, always speaking his mind. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, dedicated to his family above all else.

Rick proudly served his country as an Army Veteran and also in the National Guard. After his military service, he devoted 40 years of his career to Hagglunds Denison Hydraulics in Marysville, Ohio, where he was well-respected and loved by those he worked alongside.

He graduated from Hilliard High School, class of 1968, and carried a lifelong passion for various interests. Rick enjoyed watching the Blue Jackets, the NFL, and college football, and had a knack for coin collecting and sports collections. He was an avid history buff, often found engrossed in the History Channel or enjoying a day at the casino.

Rick's greatest pride came from the life he and his wife, Linda Del Chicco, built together, along with their children, Christopher, Catherine, and Lauren. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Reeves, Rohen, and Rush, and his family will forever treasure the memories created during their time together.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, Enrico Del Chicco, mother, Ruth Del Chicco, and sister, Delores.

A viewing will be held on January 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Rick will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.

Rick Del Chicco will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His life was one of joy, dedication, and love, leaving a legacy that will live on in the hearts of his family.
