Ercell M. Hensley, 90, Westerville, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. Ercell was born in Obetz, OH on June 21, 1926, to Clarence and Laura (Pummel) Sharon and is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Marvin Steele and Lawrence Hensley; sons, Terry and Daniel Steele; grandson, Daniel Steele; 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Steele and Donald (Lydia) Steele; 5 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Ercell was a member of the Blendon Township Senior Center.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 15th at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, OH.
