Erma Dawn Leap Penn Vagnier, 90, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Erma was born on June 18, 1928 in Hilliard, OH to the late Ferd McKinley Leap and Leah Elizabeth Walker Leap Ward.
In addition to her parents, Erma is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul W. Penn; second husband, John D. Vagnier; sisters, LaVaughn Rachel Leap Hughes and Letty Betty Leap Dillon; brother, Ferd Melvin Leap.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Starlett Vianne Penn and Leah Grace Penn; many nieces and nephews.
Erma loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and is now rejoicing in heaven. On earth, she deeply loved her daughters and they deeply loved and will miss her. She loved many pets over the years. A truly Christian lady who was a source of strong prayer always for others. She will be deeply missed.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10 am also at Newcomer NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, OH 43026.
